Beyond sport, Liège-Bastogne-Liège is committed to supporting sustainable mobility. Cycling is the most environmentally friendly way to get around and is perfectly in keeping with the policy of the Tour de France: Riding into the future

Sustainable mobility

The organisation's vehicle fleet is making the transition to electric mobility. The 50 vehicles that make up the fleet are plug-in hybrids. Two fully electric Škoda Enyaq IV cars will be present in the race in 2022.  A mobile charging station will be set up at the finish to extend the fossil fuel-free range of the fully electric and hybrid vehicles as much as possible.

Eco-responsibility

Collection zones: riders will have specific collection zones to dispose of their waste, which will be cleaned by the organisation. This year, 8 zones will be available to the riders.
